Investigate Mamata Banerjee’s insights on Inquilab Manch spokesperson Hadi’s assassination

TBM Report

The family of the slain Inquilab Manch spokesperson, Shaheed Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, has formally urged the government to diplomatically engage with West Bengal political leader Mamata Banerjee regarding her recent statements on the high-profile assassination. Speaking at a press conference at the Nalchity Press Club on Monday morning, the victim’s sister, Masuma Hadi, asserted that it is the sovereign responsibility of the state to decode the geopolitical undertones of Banerjee’s remarks. She demanded that if bilateral diplomatic channels fail to extract the core intelligence, the state must deploy international legal frameworks to compel transparency from Indian authorities.

Addressing the Head of Government, Masuma Hadi issued an emotional appeal to expedite judicial proceedings, emphasizing that establishing absolute accountability for her brother’s murder is crucial for inspiring future generations to uphold national justice. The family expressed profound distress over the systemic bottlenecks within the prosecution, questioning the recurring postponements of the investigative charge sheet’s submission date. They called for a comprehensive judicial probe encompassing the masterminds, financial orchestrators, and political entities behind the targeted killing.

The family further criticized law enforcement agencies for operational negligence, questioning how the perpetrators managed to breach the sovereign border and flee to India immediately after gunning down Hadi on December 12, 2025. Masuma Hadi demanded a thorough audit to determine whether state security apparatuses or influential political configurations facilitated the suspects’ cross-border escape. Issuing a stern ultimatum, she concluded that if the Home Minister maintains an indifferent stance toward the case, the strategic cabinet portfolio should be vacated for an official more aligned with the public’s demand for equity.
