Designed to bridge the gap between recruiters and talent while equipping job seekers with market-relevant skills, the “Nextjobz Career Summit & Job Fest 2026” concluded on Tuesday at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in Farmgate, Dhaka.
Organized by Nextjobz Limited, the daylong summit brought together over 100 top employers, industry practitioners, and thousands of job aspirants under one roof.
Dr. Nazneen Kawshar Chowdhury, Secretary and Executive Chairman of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) under the Prime Minister’s Office, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Nextjobz Limited Chief Business Officer Shoeb Hassan delivered the keynote address alongside executive presence from AKIJ Resource and AKIJ AgriLife leadership teams.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Nazneen Kawshar Chowdhury stressed the imperative of aligning workforce capability with fast-evolving job market dynamics. She noted that traditional academic degrees must be augmented by technical expertise, cross-functional communication, leadership qualities, and structured problem-solving skills.
She urged deeper public-private collaboration to unify skill development initiatives with direct employment pipelines, commending Nextjobz for facilitating structured workforce readiness.
The centerpiece of the summit was the direct recruitment drive. Representatives from participating corporate bodies conducted walk-in interviews for around 750 open positions, evaluating over 2,500 candidates on-site and extending immediate job offers.
The program also showcased Nextjobz’s skill development arm, “Nextjobz Learning Lab,” alongside its corporate staffing and payroll management division, “Next Resource.” From fresh graduates to seasoned industry executives, participants utilized the platform for career counseling, high-level networking, and professional upskilling.
