The Russian House in Dhaka, in partnership with the Bangladesh International Youth Foundation (BIYF), hosted a preparatory meeting on Sunday, September 6, 2026, targeting Bangladeshi youth interested in global leadership opportunities in Russia.
The session introduced attendees to the upcoming International Youth Festival 2026, scheduled to take place in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from September 11 to 17, 2026. The weeklong gathering will bring together young delegates and civic leaders from across the globe to build cross-border networks and discuss youth-led initiatives.
Organizers briefed participants on the festival structure, cultural exchange tracks, and registration protocols required for international cohorts. Attendees explored how cross-cultural cooperation opens practical pathways for professional development and global networking.
Past participants from previous editions of the festival joined the session to share firsthand experiences. They provided practical insights into living arrangements, event dynamics, and strategies for maximizing engagement during international summits.
These firsthand accounts offered actionable guidance to prospective attendees, giving them a clear roadmap of what to expect while representing Bangladesh on an international platform.
The event aligns with the ongoing outreach programs of the Russian House in Dhaka, aimed at building people-to-people ties and providing Bangladeshi youth with direct exposure to global educational and cultural platforms.
