The three-day “11th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026” will kick off this Thursday, September 10, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, highlighting cutting-edge food processing and packaging technologies.
Jointly organized by the Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Rainbow Exhibition and Event Management Services Limited (REEMS), the exhibition will continue through September 12. Details were disclosed at a press conference on Tuesday at the BAPA office in Sobhanbagh, Dhaka.
The event will feature over 200 brands from 27 participating countries, displaying more than 4,000 machinery and technology solutions. Organizers anticipate over 24,000 trade visitors and industry experts over the three days.
This year’s showcase puts special emphasis on AI-powered automation, machine vision, robotics, smart factory systems, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and sustainable packaging designs. Concurrently, the “Food Ingredients Bangladesh Expo 2026” will take place at the same venue, showcasing functional foods, nutraceuticals, alternative proteins, and plant-based formulations.
BAPA President Mahbub Anam highlighted that adopting modern technology is essential to scale up Bangladesh’s agro-processing sector and boost export potential. Expo Organizing Committee Chairman and PRAN-RFL Group CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury noted that the platform will help businesses streamline supply chain efficiency and build technological resilience during economic shifts.
The event will also host technical sessions, seminars, and the Global Food Security and Technology Forum, featuring contributions from over 100 industry leaders and technical experts worldwide.
