The military synchronization, initially uncovered by Washington-based news portal Axios and subsequently verified by CNN, materialized following an emergency telephonic consultation between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed (MBZ). Intelligence briefs indicate that the deployed Iron Dome batteries successfully intercepted dozens of incoming projectiles targeted at Emirati infrastructure. Although the two nations normalized diplomatic pathways through the 2020 Abraham Accords, this direct cross-border defensive engagement represents an unprecedented level of operational combat integration between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.
Emirati defense dossiers revealed that during the six-week conflict, which commenced on February 28 and reached a shaky truce on April 8, the UAE sustained the highest saturation of hostile fire in the Persian Gulf, eclipsing even Israel. Abu Dhabi confirmed facing over 550 ballistic and cruise missiles alongside 2,200 loitering munitions launched by Iranian forces.
