Iran arrests four “US Spies” and over 100 royalist operatives in nationwide crackdown

Date:

TBM Report

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced on Wednesday that it has arrested four individuals accused of spying for the United States, along with 111 members of various “monarchist” opposition cells. According to reports from the Tasnim News Agency, the arrests were made during a large-scale security operation spanning 26 provinces across the country.

The Ministry stated that the four alleged spies were identified and apprehended in the provinces of Hamadan and West Azerbaijan. They are accused of working for the US administration and its proxy agencies, specifically providing sensitive information regarding military headquarters, equipment, and troop deployments. A significant cache of weaponry was also seized during the raids.

Authorities claimed the operation effectively dismantled dozens of “treacherous” networks aimed at destabilizing the state. These mass arrests come at a time of heightened regional tension, following Iran’s recent missile strikes and escalating confrontations with the US and Israel. International analysts view this crackdown as Tehran’s effort to secure its domestic front against perceived internal sabotage and foreign-backed subversion.
