Fresh Anonna, the flagship feminine hygiene brand of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), has launched an initiative to install sanitary napkin vending machines in madrasahs nationwide, aiming to make menstrual hygiene products accessible to female students.
Launched in March 2026, the program allows female students to purchase affordable sanitary napkins inside their institutional campuses whenever needed.
The initiative has already covered seven prominent madrasahs, bringing thousands of female students under a reliable hygiene network. Alongside installing machines, Fresh Anonna collaborates with medical professionals to conduct interactive menstrual health awareness sessions at each participating institution.
These awareness workshops educate students on proper hygiene practices during menstruation, personal care, and breaking deep-seated societal myths surrounding periods. Fresh Anonna plans to expand this program to more educational institutions and corporate workplaces in the coming months.
Highlighting the project’s impact, Barrister Tasnim Mostafa, Director of Meghna Group of Industries, noted that the core goal extends beyond product accessibility to building a period-friendly academic environment. She emphasized that menstruation is a natural biological process, and ensuring access to essential hygiene products directly safeguards women’s health, dignity, and self-confidence.
Participating institutions so far include Madinatul Ulum Model Institute Women’s Kamil Madrasah, Darunnazat Siddikia Kamil Madrasah, Al Faruk Girls Dakhil Madrasah, Serajnagar Ummul Qura Madrasah, Adarsha Islami Mission Mohila Kamil Madrasah, and Nibras Madrasah.
