Acting on actionable intelligence indicating the fugitive’s temporary repatriation to his domestic quarters, a tactical detachment led by SI Ruhul and ASI Latif launched a midnight raid. In a desperate bid to evade statutory detention and disrupt the judicial mandate, the suspect wielded a heavy domestic machete, launching an indiscriminate physical onslaught against the apprehending law enforcement detail.
Superintendent of Police Asaduzzaman detailed that the weapon struck SI Ruhul Amin across his wrist, nearly severing the joint and creating profound physiological trauma across multiple nodes of his body. ASI Latif was similarly incapacitated while attempting to neutralize the assailant. Exploiting the immediate tactical destabilization of the wounded officers, Rashedul successfully breached the perimeter and evacuated the sector.
