Morocco has officially accepted an invitation from President Donald Trump to become a founding member of the “Board of Peace for Gaza.” In a statement released on Monday, the Moroccan Foreign Ministry confirmed that King Mohammed VI endorsed the second phase of the comprehensive peace plan, which includes the formation of a National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.
This initiative aims to establish a temporary interim administrative framework to govern the Gaza Strip with international cooperation. Morocco’s participation is seen as a strategic advancement in its diplomatic role within the Middle East, reinforcing its commitment to regional stability. Analysts believe that Morocco’s involvement will provide essential legitimacy and administrative expertise to the proposed governance structure for the war-torn enclave.
