BNP launches ‘Match My Policy’ web app to engage youth in governance

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has launched an interactive web app, “Match My Policy,” designed to integrate citizen feedback into its policy-making process. Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman inaugurated the platform via a video message on his verified Facebook page on Saturday evening.

The platform (www.matchmypolicy.net) features a user-friendly, swipe-based interface. Users can navigate through summaries of the party’s political and developmental proposals, swiping right or left to express their agreement or disagreement. This digital tool aims to foster a more participatory political culture in post-July Bangladesh.

Beyond swiping, the app includes an “Opinion” section where users can submit detailed suggestions and constructive criticism regarding specific policies. The platform also provides comprehensive content detailing the party’s long-term vision and future roadmap for the country.

A primary goal of the initiative is to engage “Gen-Z” and the younger generation in active governance. By collecting direct public input, the BNP intends to refine its future strategies to be more pragmatic and people-centric. Party sources describe the app as a milestone in transitioning toward policy-based, inclusive democracy in Bangladesh.
