TBM Report
Iran’s parliament is currently drafting a legislative bill to officially place a massive bounty on the heads of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The severe retaliatory measure follows the assassination of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a joint US-Israeli airstrike on February 28. If enacted, the statutory decree will authorize an official state bounty of EUR 50 million (approximately USD 58.2 million or BDT 7.14 billion) to any individual or entity responsible for the elimination of either leader.
Ebrahim Azizi, the chairman of Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, confirmed that his department is framing the parameters of the bill titled “Countermeasures of the Islamic Republic’s Military and Security Forces.” Iranian lawmakers, including committee member Mahmoud Nababian, declared that Trump, Netanyahu, and Admiral Brad Cooper of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) bear direct criminal culpability for the strike and will face “devastating asymmetrical responses.” Tehran also issued stern warnings against potential threats targeting its newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
The strategic transition from ideological religious fatwas to formalized parliamentary legislation marks a dangerous escalation in the multi-decade geopolitical standoff. In response to recurring threats from Tehran, President Donald Trump previously cautioned that any targeted aggression against US leadership would prompt Washington to execute a hard military mandate to “obliterate Iran from the face of the earth.” Alongside official state architectures, a state-aligned domestic crowd-funding campaign named the “Blood Covenant” has already cross-pooled over USD 27 million for the neutralization of Trump.
Amid the mounting threat matrices, a senior US official, quoting intelligence components via Axios, confirmed that Tehran has delivered a new diplomatic peace proposal to Washington. However, American channels dismissed the brief, noting it offers no substantial concessions beyond Iran’s traditional compliance baselines. Sending a definitive warning, the White House stated that Washington demands immediate, transparent verifications of Iran’s unsanctioned nuclear program, maintaining that if diplomatic grids fail, the United States will be forced to “speak through bombs,” signaling a catastrophic full-scale military intervention.
