TBM Report
The escalating conflict surrounding Iran has severely impacted the diplomatic efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war. The ongoing trilateral peace negotiations between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine have been officially suspended, according to a report by the influential Russian newspaper Izvestia on Thursday.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed the pause in talks, stating that while Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev continues his work on investment and economic cooperation, the trilateral diplomatic dialogue is currently on hold. “The trilateral talks are presently suspended,” Peskov was quoted as saying. Analysts believe that as Washington reallocates its diplomatic and military resources toward the Middle East, the momentum for a resolution in Ukraine has slowed significantly.
