BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi emphasized the enduring spirit of Ekushey February, saying it continues to inspire the nation to rise against fascism. Speaking to reporters on Friday after paying tribute to the martyrs at Central Shaheed Minar on International Mother Language Day, Rizvi stated, “The spirit of 21st February is eternal – it will never fade.”
He expressed confidence that if fascism or dictatorship attempts to resurface, the fearless youth and people of the nation would take to the streets to resist it. “The legacy of February 21st, 1952, remains a revolutionary ideal for generations,” Rizvi added, calling it an indestructible force that continues to inspire the nation.
