‘Super Caravan’ hits Kuakata to boost voter awareness for 2026 election

A mobile awareness unit dubbed the ‘Super Caravan’ launched in Kuakata on Saturday to educate citizens ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election and the 2026 Referendum. The initiative aims to provide vital electoral information to both tourists and local residents at the coastal town’s ‘Zero Point’.

Kauchar Hamid, the Sub-district Executive Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate of Kalapara, inaugurated the campaign. Through this mobile unit, officials are distributing information on voting procedures, civic duties, and essential details regarding the upcoming national polls.

The campaign has seen significant public engagement, with the local administration seeking to build voter confidence and eliminate misinformation. Officials stated that the project ensures transparency and encourages active participation in the democratic process.

“Our goal is to strengthen public trust and ensure everyone is fully informed before the election,” said UNO Kauchar Hamid. He added that the ‘Super Caravan’ will gradually cover all areas within the sub-district.
